The access to the first circle of walls is through the Porta Romana gate. You pass in front of the Trinity church to arrive to a spindle-shaped fountain with lion headed inlets and the second circle of walls which includes the XV century city hall and the Clock tower of the XIV-XV century.
The "Madonna della Neve" gate of the XIII century leads to the most ancient part of the village, where the church of S.Maria Assunta (xiv century) displays its original gothic style with a charming bell tower and a monumental door on the left side.
