Here you can find Canino, the second homeland of Luciano Bonaparte and the land where one of the best varieties of olive oil in the whole country is produced.
Pay a visit to the collegiate church of SS.Giovanni e Andrea - built in 1796 and hosting a chapel with the tombs of the Bonaparte family - and the fountain built near the church and attributed to Vignola.
The old town centre still features the Bonaparte family palace with its unique architecture by Valadier.

Beyond the Regional Road No. 74 (Maremmana) there is the convent of S.Francesco, built during the XV century according to the will of the Farnese family around a small Romanic church where it seems that St. Francis stopped to pray.
